Founder and CEO Kurt Wooldridge hails from the quaint river town of Burlington, Iowa right on the boarder of Illinois and 45 miles from Missouri. He started playing the guitar in 1984 replicating some of his biggest influences such as REM, Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, Dwight Yoakam, Led Zeppelin, CCR & Many others. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1988 – 1992 as an Aviation Machinists Mate 3rd class working on helicopters and manned a .50 cal on the USS Gallery in the Red Sea as well during Desert Storm. After the military Kurt started playing in working bands around the Burlington, Iowa area and has played everything from Rock and Roll to Traditional Country & Pop Country music. His primary instruments are Bass Guitar and Lead and backing Vocals.

Remick Street Music was founded in 2005 as a publishing company for Kurt Wooldridge who at that time was a singer song writer in the traditional country music genre. Kurt toured as a regional artist with his group South 61 playing casino’s, fairs, festivals, clubs and doing openers for such artists as Cheap Trick, Trace Adkins, Joe Nichols, Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker, Trick Pony, Kevin Sharp and Jason Aldean to name a few.

Kurt recorded his Nashville debut album “Twang Factor” in the spring of 2007.

In 2009 Kurt completed his studies at Berklee College of Music in Artist Management / Music Business with a 3.94 GPA. He studied Concert Touring, Music Marketing, and The Future of The Music Business, Artist Management and Music Publishing. His professors are current music industry professionals who have managed record labels, works catalogs, toured with high profile artists and even had featured books in movies. Kurt took a lot from this experience.

Kurt has extensive tour experience, driving tour bus, selling merch, booking venues, show logistics & song writing. These relationships have gained Kurt the knowledge and ability to apply key fundamentals in creating success in Artist Management, Booking and Publishing.

In 2009 Kurt licensed his first song to a TV and Film company Jingle Punks and has since licensed songs in foreign markets as well as working sub publishing deals with American companies. Kurt has a well established network of music industry contacts as well as a great lineup of quality venues and artists.
